Disc brakes provide superior stopping power and modulation in wet or muddy conditions, while protecting your wheels from premature wear.
Disc brakes outperform rim brakes on the DXT in nearly every way. They deliver superior stopping power and precise modulation, with enhanced safety in wet and muddy conditions where rim friction becomes unreliable. By braking a smaller diameter disc near the wheel's center rather than the rim's circumference, you get more efficient stopping regardless of weather. Plus, removing braking duties from the rim means your wheels last significantly longer.
