We strongly recommend using Cross seals whenever suitable for your riding conditions.
These pulleys are equipped with Grade 3 ABEC 5 hybrid ceramic bearings — the same high-quality bearings used in our bottom brackets. Road seals are optimised for minimal friction and maximum efficiency on road bikes, while Cross seals are designed for riders who prioritise durability, making them ideal for cyclocross and gravel use. The aluminium pulley wheels also provide increased resistance to wear, especially in muddy and harsh conditions.
