The ME1000 operates through a battery/motor system, eliminating the need for a conventional onboard battery. Its always-on Daytime Running Light boosts rider visibility during daylight with minimal power use. When entering tunnels or at dusk, ambient light sensors automatically increase brightness to full power. To enhance safety in diverse weather and road conditions, the ME1000 includes side lighting and anti-glare features, providing comprehensive active and passive protection.
The ME1000 features an adjustable light head offering a wide illumination range from 45° upward to 90° downward. Its vertical beam is diffused above eye level to minimize glare for oncoming traffic, while side lighting enhances visibility for vehicles alongside the rider. Constructed from a durable, seamless one-piece aluminum alloy housing integrated with a one-prong aluminum mount, it installs easily on either side of 31.8mm or 35mm handlebars without removing grips, shifters, or brake levers, ensuring exceptional stability. Advanced thermal management through an internal smart protection circuit and the shell’s heat dissipation maintains maximum output without overheating. The sleek design also achieves an IPX6 waterproof rating. Compatible with most 6–12V systems, including Bosch, Shimano, Brose, and Yamaha, the ME1000 automatically adjusts to the available voltage.
