Troy Brosnan's Go-Fast Signature Tire
Troy sought a tyre that could effortlessly maintain speed with a centre tread design while also delivering exceptional cornering capability with edge blocks fit for elite racing. Leveraging the tread patterns of our Rekon, Minion DHF, and High Roller II tires as inspiration, Troy and our engineering team embarked on the development journey for the Dissector during the 2018 World Cup season.
The centre knobs are meticulously ramped to minimize resistance while retaining sharp, flat edges along their backs, ensuring robust braking traction. Incorporating small sipes allows the knobs to flex, increasing their surface area during braking and facilitating the transition to the edge blocks for cornering. The C-shaped edge blocks alternate in proximity to the tyre's centerline, enhancing precision during the shift from centre to cornering tread. Additionally, distinct channels flanking each side of the centre knobs, coupled with ample lug spacing, aid in debris clearance.

EXO Protection utilises an extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of select mountain tyres. This densely woven fabric is also lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the performance of the tyre remains unaffected.
