Fast-rolling and hungry for corners, the Maxxis Dissector G2 takes the trail favourite and sharpens its cornering, braking and feel.
Completely re-engineered side knobs with a larger footprint and reshaped sipes resist deflection under load, so you get a stable, locked-in feel when you push hard into dry, hardpacked turns. The centre keeps the fast-rolling 2-3-2 layout, but the middle knobs are now split for better braking traction, and the transition knobs sit further out for a smoother lean onto the edge.
Run it up front on a 130–140mm trail bike, paired with a fast rear like the Forekaster or Rekon, or as a fast, grippy rear on a 150mm-plus bike in dry conditions.
