High Roller 3 - We've Stacked the Deck in Your Favour
Developed for the demands of modern downhill for those who want to push the limits of what is possible and have their tyres keep up. Suitable large knobs for wet and fast cornering in the dry, what more is there to want in a DH tyre.
Fresh Smell of Victory
The High Roller III has already claimed victory under the likes of Jackson Goldstone (Mont Sainte Anne), Ronan Dunne, and Marine Cabirou. Lots of testing with the best mtb riders on the planet, means Maxxis has your bases covered.
Proclaimed by Pro Riders
Dak Norton - Blown away with how well it initiates corners & has support for pushing limits, dry or wet.
Ronan Dunne - When I'm understeering on other tyres, I put this in and the high roller 3 always does the job.
Remi Gauvin - As soon as you put the highroller 3 on you definitely have a lot more control.
Remy Metailler - Fits well into the Maxxis lineup, and works out well on much more situations.
Designed to Corner Faster
Positioning itself between the Assegai and the Shorty in the Maxxis gravity range, the third generation High Roller combines an open center tread pattern and with large, well supported side knobs to withstand extreme cornering forces. The center tread uses a mid-spike design similar to the Shorty but with a lower knob height. These knobs provide excellent soil penetration in soft, loose, or dusty conditions while remaining stable enough to prevent squirm on hard surfaces. Cornering traction is enhanced via large, well-supported side knobs for predictable handling.
Downhill; Wet & Dry
It’s a hybrid tread design that provides the soil penetration of a wet weather mid-spike while retaining the cornering control and hard surface traction of a dry conditions tire.
Best of Assegai & Shorty Combined
The third gen High Roller slots into the Maxxis gravity range between the Assegai and the Shorty. The widely-spaced tread of the High Roller clears debris better than the Assegai and it performs better in drier conditions compared to the Shorty. These attributes make the High Roller a versatile choice when conditions are soft or loose, but don’t quite warrant a mud spike.
