Maxxis' inaugural gravel-specific tyre, the Rambler, combines ample volume for comfort with the necessary tread for speed and control. Its closely packed centre knobs are ramped for efficient rolling on hardpack roads, while spaced-out side knobs ensure predictable cornering in diverse terrain.
SilkShield offers protection from bead to bead whereas Silkworm is found under the tread only. SilkShield provides an additional level of protection for sidewalls as well as under the tread.
The tubeless tyre improves traction and lowers the rolling resistance, as it has the ability to run on lower air pressure
