The QL3.1 attachment system offers versatility by allowing you to mount it on either the right or left side of your rack. It provides full adjustability, ensuring ample clearance for your heels and allowing you to set the ideal angle for your bag. Notably, Ortlieb has improved the design of its commuter bags that incorporate the QL3.1 system, such as the Ortlieb Downtown and Ortlieb Office series. These bags now feature a smoother backing plate, enhancing overall comfort during transport.
For ultimate security, the top mounting clips are equipped with an automatic locking mechanism to keep your bag securely attached to the rack. This convenient feature allows for easy securing and releasing of your bag, simply lift the handle to unlock the clips. Please note that the QL2 system is not compatible with the QL3.1 system and cannot be modified to fit the new QL3.1 components.
