The ORTLIEB SEAT-PACK QR DARK SAND is designed to be the ultimate companion for any bike excursion, whether you're riding on singletrack, mountain passes, or gravel routes. With its innovative and patented Seat-Lock attachment system and durable, abrasion-resistant nylon fabric, this bag offers exceptional stability and effortless mounting and removal without any leftover residue. Additionally, it comes with a 4.3cm adapter specifically designed to be compatible with dropper posts.
The interior of the bag includes internal reinforcement and five compression straps, ensuring a secure and organized packing experience. A handle strap on the valve further aids in compressing the pack volume, and there's also an outside elastic cord for attaching extra gear. The Seat-Pack QR also boasts a protective plate on the bottom to protect against tire contact, and it even functions as a fender.

YOU CAN EASILY CHECK IF YOUR SADDLE IS COMPATIBLE:
- The saddle rails must have a bend of at least 34°.
- The seat post clamp must be at least 13 mm from the middle of the bend in the saddle rail. There must also be at least 13 mm from the middle of the bend to where the rail connects to the back of the saddle.
- The bottom edge of the saddle (at the side) must be at least 14 mm higher than the bottom edge of the saddle rail.
THE FOLLOWING PRODUCTS ARE NOT SUITABLE:
- Saddles with carbon fiber rails
- Suspension seatposts
- Saddles with unusual saddle rails e.g. SQLab Active, Brooks B67 (see point 2 above)
- Electronic dropper posts e.g. Rock Shox AXS or Magura Vyron
For optimal initial mounting of the Seat Pack QR, adjust the Seat Lock System to the forward-most position on the bag and loosen the bolts. Additional information and tips are provided in the fitting instructions to ensure the best fit.
