This product offers precision and efficiency with its CNC-machined aluminum design, specifically designed for easy installation and removal of various components. It features 16-notch tool fittings for a wide range of uses, including bottom brackets, center lock disc brakes, and e-bike motor lockrings. Manufactured in-house by Park Tool, it is anodized for quick identification and is compatible with 3/8" drive ratchet and torque wrenches.
The BBT-69.4 is equipped with integrated threads for complete compatibility with the Park Tool BBT-RS Bottom Bracket Tool Retaining System (sold separately). The BBT-RS utilizes an adjustable spring-based tension system to consistently and precisely apply pressure to the tool, ensuring proper engagement and preventing slippage.
KEY FEATURES
Fits 16-notch tool fittings with a major diameter (outside of notches) of 44–45 mm and a minor diameter (inside of notches) of 42.7 mm, including:
- Shimano® BB80, BB5700, XT® BB70, BB51, and previous external bearing threaded bottom bracket cups
- Threaded bottom bracket cups from Campagnolo®, Chris King®, FSA® MegaExo®, Hope™, SRAM®/Truvativ® GXP®, Race Face® X-type, Surly®, Wheels®, Fulcrum®, and others
- Center lock disc brake rotor lockrings
- Bafang BBSH, BBS02 mid-drive motor lockrings
