The CRS-1 tool comes with six inserts to help you install the fork crown race. By selecting the appropriate insert, you can prevent damage to the bearing surface and ensure a proper fit. Simply slide the tube over the fork tube, insert the top end of the insert, and use a hammer to firmly tap the end cap of the tube to accurately and safely seat the race. This set includes one universal setting tube, three 1" inserts, and three 1-1/8" inserts, making it compatible with forks up to 340mm in length.
