For installing bearing races on 1.5" and 1-1/4" forks, the CRS-15.2 utilizes dual insert rings. To prevent direct impact on the bearing surface, aluminum inserts are employed. Gently tapping the end cap of the tube with a hammer will safely and precisely seat the race in its designated location. The included extension makes it possible to work on fork steering tubes measuring up to 425mm.
