The Angel™ GT Urban is named after the motorcycle tyre Angel GT as they both call for speed, grip, and handling. It is the solution for those looking for performance, a dynamic tyre even while riding a city bike. The tyre is made of a HyperBELT carcass with a 5mm puncture-resistant layer to meet the challenging conditions of urban cycling. The special design coupled with the PRO compound Urban makes the tyre more reactive and fast.
The Angel™ GT Urban meets the ECE-R75 and ECE-R88 certification requirements and is both suitable for traditional and electric bicycles.
Tread:
The design of the Angel™ GT Urban takes inspiration from the big brother Angel™ GT, one of the most appreciated motorbike tyres in the Pirelli range. Its sporty soul is engraved in a design that enhances the agile handling that modern city e-bikes require.
Compound:
The PRO Compound Urban is a special silica-based rubber formulation that maximises on grip and mileage, both fundamental features when dealing with urban cycling in every weather condition. The Angel™ Urban range meets the ECE-R75 certification, meaning that the tyres meet the European standards specific to the needs of speed e-bikes that go up to 50km/h (31mph).
