The Angel™ XT Urban is engineered for both paved roads and light off-road use, making it ideal for everyday city riding. Its knobby tread pattern, inspired by the Pirelli MT60 RS, delivers responsive handling on roads along with comfort, strong grip, and reliable traction on dirt and gravel. This performance comes from the varied knob design—lower in the center for smoother rolling on asphalt, and taller on the sides to better manage light off-road terrain. Its motorcycle-style profile also enhances grip when cornering.
The Angel™ Urban complies with ECE-R75 and ECE-R88 standards, making it suitable for both conventional and electric bicycles.
Compound: The PRO Compound Urban uses a silica-based rubber blend designed to optimize both grip and durability—two key factors for urban riding in all weather conditions.
Carcass: The HyperBELT construction is specifically built for city use, prioritizing puncture resistance. Its 60tpi nylon casing helps guard against cuts, while an additional 5mm rubber layer provides extra protection from sharp objects like nails and thorns. This design ensures long-lasting durability and reliability when navigating common urban hazards.
The Angel™ Urban line meets ECE-R75 certification, confirming its suitability for speed e-bikes capable of reaching up to 50 km/h (31 mph).
Additionally, the reflective stripe complies with ECE-R88 standards, ensuring high visibility even from difficult angles.
