The P ZERO™ Race TLR RS is the newest addition to the P ZERO™ Race lineup of road racing tyres, proudly manufactured in Italy. Developed alongside professional riders from World Tour teams, it is designed to deliver outstanding speed and grip, surpassing the performance of previous tyre models.
This performance is driven by the new SmartEVO² compound, which incorporates advanced materials and motorsport expertise to enhance grip and control on both dry and wet roads. The tyre also features a lighter version of the patented SpeedCORE™ construction, which includes a thin, airtight rubber layer reinforced with aramid particles. Together, these innovations create a high-performance tyre suited not only for elite racers but also for cyclists seeking pro-level technology.
Compound: The SmartEVO² compound represents the latest evolution in high-performance racing tyre materials. Building on the previous SmartEVO blend of three “smart” polymers, it introduces new materials and improved mixing techniques developed at Pirelli’s Italian manufacturing facility near its global R&D headquarters. The result is enhanced grip—especially in wet conditions—and significantly reduced rolling resistance, meeting the demands of top-level World Tour racing.
Carcass: SpeedCORE™ is an advanced tubeless-ready construction developed by Pirelli for high-performance cycling tyres. Inspired by automotive technology and produced in Italy near the company’s Milan headquarters, it features a thin, airtight rubber layer infused with aramid particles. This design improves durability, air retention, and flexibility, all of which contribute to better overall tyre performance.
