The Wake 6560 Evolution marks the fifth generation of the Wake series and represents its biggest leap forward in performance yet—faster, lighter, and stiffer. Known for its well-balanced design, it delivers aerodynamic efficiency that rivals deeper wheels while remaining lighter and more agile than shallower options. At the same time, it maintains excellent stiffness, responsiveness, and a lively ride feel, continuing its reputation as a top choice for peak performance.
This latest version introduces a redesigned Evolution profile, featuring alternating deep and shallow rim sections paired with alternating spoke sides. This setup allows high-tension spokes to connect to deeper rim sections, improving bracing angles and balancing spoke tension for a stiffer, more consistent wheel. Known as Radially Staggered Lacing, this patented design is unique to Princeton CarbonWorks road wheels. The rim is also slightly wider and lighter than before, optimized for 25–28mm tires to enhance aerodynamics and stability in crosswinds. With reduced rim weight, a hooked, hole-less, tubeless-ready design, and compatibility with both tubed and tubeless setups—without the need for tape or pressure limits—it offers versatile, high-performance riding with continued support for rim brake options.
