Raced on the XC World Cup circuit and at midweek races the world over, the Reserve 25 was designed for human-powered speed. This is the 650b rim on its own, 28 hole, for a wheel built by your wheelsmith.
One of Reserve's lightest mountain rims at 390g, it builds up to a sub-1,600g wheelset that does not skimp on toughness. There is no rider weight limit, so you can go full gas wherever you ride, and it carries the same lifetime warranty as every Reserve wheel.
Reserve wheels are built on carbon rims that set strength and impact resistance as the first priority, without the harsh, wooden ride that gives some carbon rims a bad name off-road. Thick rim beads shrug off heavy hits, and Santa Cruz only makes off-road bikes, so everything about Reserve comes from knowing what riders need on the trail. Every Reserve wheel and rim is backed by a lifetime warranty, the same as Santa Cruz frames.
