The Trainer Axle is engineered to seamlessly connect your thru axle bike to a variety of wheel-on trainers like 1up, Blackburn, Cyclops, Kinetic, Tacx, and Wahoo. It’s precisely designed to fit your bike's thru axle system, reducing the need for spacers and additional components. This results in a streamlined, high-performance axle that ensures effective training, warming up, and race preparation throughout your season.
Important: Prior to purchasing, verify that your trainer can accommodate the width of your modern thru-axle bike. Measure the trainer at its widest adjustment and compare it to the outside width of your bike frame. Note that the ends of the trainer axle will extend beyond the frame on both sides.
KEY FEATURES
- Robert Axle for Trainers replaces your stock 12 mm thru axle so you can use your bike on a trainer.
- This axle is compatible with 1up, Blackburn, Cyclops, Kinetic, Tacx, Wahoo and many other on-wheel resistance trainers.
- The true length of the axle shaft is 165 mm, but can be shortened to 162 mm or 159 mm using the included 3 mm or 6 mm spacer. Please note: Thru-axle lengths do not equal hub standards. An axle has to be longer than the hub to fit in the frame. A 12×142 hub does not equal a 142 mm long axle.
- This axle has a 1.5 mm thread pitch.
- The axle shaft and axle ends are precision CNC machined from 7075 aluminum, and hard anodized for rugged durability.
- No special tools required. Design allows for installation or wheel removal using your standard 5 mm hex wrench.
