This tire is suitable for both asphalt and off-road conditions and can handle everyday use or bicycle expeditions with ease. Its durable design can withstand various forms of damage and is fortified with SmartGuard - the most reliable puncture protection belt for bicycle tires.
FLAT-LESS WITH MARATHON PLUS
The Marathon Plus tire is the only option for a flat-less bicycle ride. Its 5mm thick puncture guard provides protection against even the smallest of hazards, such as thumbtacks..www.schwalbtires.com/blog/news/innovation/flat-less/
The Schwalbe Marathon Plus Tour has a strong defense against common tire hazards like glass, flints, and metal shards, reducing the risk of flats. While no tire is completely flat-proof, the Marathon Plus offers advanced protection. Keep tire pressures accurate with a pressure gauge, as the usual 'thumb check' is not enough due to the tire's special construction.
