MTB SR17 SOLE
The Sidi Eagle 7 features an advanced MTB-specific sole engineered from nylon reinforced with polyurethane components. Its tread pattern delivers superior grip and mud shedding while maintaining stability across varied terrain. The branded central insert provides anti-slip properties, particularly beneficial for less experienced riders. The replaceable toe section—prone to wear during dismounts—attaches via screws and accommodates crampon installation for enhanced traction in extreme conditions. The SR17 sole achieves an optimal balance: maximum rigidity for efficient power transfer during pedaling, combined with controlled flex for comfortable walking and technical dismounts.
SOFT INSTEP CLOSURE SYSTEM
CALIPER BUCKLE
The micrometric closure called “Caliper Buckle” is adjustable by lifting the central buckle. In order to completely open, lift together both side buckles, or push the center button to slightly loosen one tooth at the time. The system is also adjustable during a race.
HIGH SECURITY VELCRO
The closure system incorporates High Security Velcro featuring integrated locking polymer teeth that interlock when fastened, preventing slippage and ensuring the strap remains fixed in position. This engineered mechanism delivers enhanced security and eliminates velcro drift during rides, maintaining consistent closure tension throughout your session.
SIDI HEEL CUP
The reinforced heel cup delivers anatomical support and stability through precision-molded plastic construction that minimizes heel lift during pedal strokes. This design enhances power transfer efficiency while reducing slip, and provides protective reinforcement in the event of impact or crash, safeguarding the heel from injury.
