It offers a lifespan over five times longer than previous carbon-filled rubber or Buna-N versions. Its innovative two-stage seal design secures both the valve stem and the base of the valve core threads, delivering a stronger seal and enhanced durability.
The new SILCA 242 gasket securely snaps onto the valve stem with a distinct 'click.' Its innovative internal design harnesses line air pressure to enhance the seal—the greater the pressure, the tighter the gasket compresses around the valve stem. This clever mechanism has inspired over 20 manufacturers worldwide to replicate the design, yet none match the precision and advanced engineering of the original SILCA 242.
