The X-Horizon rear derailleur features a 'straight parallelogram' design that restricts movement to the horizontal axis, preventing ghost shifting and reducing shift force. The large upper pulley offset design ensures a consistent chain gap across all gears, enabling quicker and more precise shifting.

Cage Lock

Equipped with Cage Lock technology, the rear derailleur simplifies wheel and chain installation. Users can easily create slack by pushing the cage forward, allowing for fast and simple locking into place.

Exact Actuation

SRAM's Exact Actuation (EA) system, adapted from their MTB technology, maintains a 1:1 actuation ratio for precise shifting. This system simplifies the setup process by stabilizing the rear derailleur hanger design, tight cog spacing, and cable tension, ensuring easy index shifting setup and consistent performance.

Roller Bearing Clutch

Featuring Roller Bearing Clutch technology, the rear derailleur delivers maximum drivetrain stability even on challenging terrain. This technology eliminates derailleur bounce and chain slap without compromising precision.
