It lines the derailleur up and holds it steady while you torque it into position, so you get the setup right first time instead of nudging, checking and nudging again.
It covers 52/39T, 54/41T and 56/43T chainring combinations and comes with a 0.7 shim. Less time in the workstand, more time on the road.
