The Tannus Armour offers 15mm of top puncture protection and 2mm of sidewall protection against sharp objects and rocks. It effectively cushions the inner tube upon impact, preventing any contact with the rim and avoiding pinch flats. Additionally, the Armour provides extra protection for your rims during intense impacts.
Tannus Armour offers sidewall support to prevent tyre buckling while navigating sharp turns at high speeds. This allows for lower tyre pressure compared to a standard tubeless set-up. For City/Commuter/Gravel/Touring, recommended pressure is 25-30 PSI, while for MTB it is 15-20 PSI. Installing the Armour is a seamless process, similar to that of regular tyres, and requires no maintenance.
