The PowerBlock is a top-tier BMX racing tyre engineered to maximize pedal power transfer into lateral movement, helping you ride faster with minimal energy loss. Featuring a steel bead and reinforced sidewall, it balances durability and performance. Its unique sidewall texture enhances abrasion resistance while maintaining flexibility. The tyre’s distinctive three-stage tread pattern, refined through an 18-month rigorous development process and validated by elite fast2 racers globally, sets it apart in both function and value.

KEY FEATURES

The outer knobs : The outer knobs, measuring about half the length of the transition knobs, are engineered to provide optimal compression and traction when leaning beyond 25 degrees. While usually unnecessary in a clean race, these knobs ensure reliable grip during aggressive cornering and challenging conditions, helping you maintain control and push harder to cross the finish line faster.

The centre row "Power Block" : When accelerating, the rear tyre’s center tread zone receives intense pedaling torque. If the center knobs are too small or tall, they flex excessively and cling to the ground slightly longer before releasing, wasting energy since excessive traction can hinder performance. On the other hand, if the knobs are too large or short, the tyre may slip under heavy torque before regaining grip, ca

Significantly smaller than the center blocks and precisely proportioned to them, the transition knobs are engineered to flex slightly when leaning beyond 15 degrees. This flexing, or compression, allows the rubber to grip the ground, enhancing traction. Positioned at a 45-degree angle to the center knobs, they help preserve forward momentum during lateral shifts and cornering.

using a noticeable loss in speed.

Each Power Block is proportionally sized to handle the torque without sticking and perfectly balanced with the proper height to minimise slipping all while retaining very low rolling resistance after take-off.

The transition knobs :The transition knobs, considerably smaller yet precisely proportioned to the center blocks, are designed to flex slightly when leaning beyond 15 degrees. This flexing, or compression, allows the rubber to grip the surface, providing traction. Arranged at a 45-degree angle to the center knobs, they support maintaining forward momentum during lateral movements and cornering.
