Thicker dust caps suit SHIMANO® MTB and traditional SRAM® Eagle™ derailleurs, while thinner alloy caps are designed for SRAM®'s latest T-Type™ Eagle Transmission. Installation requires just 3 N·m torque, though fine-tuning may optimise derailleur performance. Consult the product manual to select the correct dust caps for your specific model, and ensure proper chain length for maximum drivetrain efficiency and longevity.
