Immersing a new or super clean chain into a tub of molten wax is the most efficient method for chain lubrication. WEND Wax-On Hot Melt's friction-reducing additives not only keep your chain clean, but also create an extremely quiet and efficient drive-train.
HOT-WAX SUPERIOR BIKE CHAIN LUBRICATION
Start with a chain free of any dirt and oils. For a previously waxed chain we recommend a mixture of 50/50 water and water based degreaser at 80c in an ultra-sonic cleaner for proper cleaning.
Load Dedicated Ultra-Sonic cleaner with ample supply of WEND Wax-On ensuring chain can be fully submersed.
Set Ultra-Sonic to 80C and allow Wax-On to melt completely.
Load chain with quick link locked into basket and submerse into WEND Wax-On bath.
Run Ultra-Sonic for 3-5 mins while agitating manually, “shaking basket with your hand”.
Remove basket with chain from wax bath, and shake off excess wax.
Lightly wipe chain with paper towel and let dry.
Reinstall onto bike.
