Enduro Bearings was a pioneer in introducing MAX type bearings for bicycles over 20 years ago, specifically designed to tackle challenges associated with mountain bike pivots. These bearings provide 35-40% more load capacity compared to standard radial bearings by employing a unique design that maximizes the number of balls (full-complement) inserted into the bearing through a custom ground slot in the races. They feature deeper race grooves that offer enhanced lateral support to counteract the twisting and multi-directional forces linked to mountain bike pivots. This MAX-type, Black-Oxide, ABEC-3 bearing incorporates deep-groove design races with Grade 10 balls and full-contact, double-lip, labyrinth (LLU) seals, ensuring maximum protection against environmental elements. The 90% fill of Almagard extra high-pressure grease inside, combined with the Black-Oxide/Magnetite coating, provides an additional layer of corrosion resistance and prolongs worry-free performance.

Several bicycle brands, including Trek, have utilized this bearing as a suspension pivot bearing.

The Enduro bearing series offers variations in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless balls.
