Crafted with precision from Delrin®, these derailleur pulleys incorporate XD-15 Ceramic-Hybrid radial bearings to boost shifting smoothness and durability. Engineered for optimal performance, the upper pulley uses CN (tight clearance) bearings to enhance shifting precision, while the lower pulley employs C4 (loose clearance) bearings to accommodate chain-line movement.
Made from 500 AF Delrin®, these pulleys offer exceptional mechanical tensile strength, rigidity, and natural lubrication. Their high resistance to moisture, caustic chemicals, and UV exposure ensures durability and smooth performance. Delrin® machines with precision and cleanliness, while its Teflon® infusion significantly reduces friction when in contact with the bicycle chain. Compared to aluminum or titanium pulleys, 500 AF Delrin® with Teflon® delivers notably lower drag for enhanced efficiency.
Exclusive to Enduro Bearings, the XD-15 Ceramic-Hybrid bearings feature cryogenically treated nitrogen steel races combined with Grade 3 Silicon Nitride ceramic balls, creating a high-performance bearing system. Their deep-groove raceways accommodate oversized ceramic balls, enhancing contact area for superior durability and efficiency. Lubricated with 90% fill Kluber NBU52 grease, these bearings improve with use, resisting washout by consistently maintaining lubrication within the ball path. Designed with an 11-tooth profile and 5mm bolt holes, they serve as a direct upgrade for most 11-speed Shimano Dura Ace and Ultegra derailleurs.
