The ENDURO CO 688 VV CERAMIC ABEC-5 BO RADIAL (C3) MINI BRNG - 8 X 16 X 5MM is a top-of-the-line bearing designed for optimal performance and durability. Featuring 52100 high-Carbon chromium alloy races with black-oxide treatment, this bearing is paired with Grade 5 Silicon Nitride Ceramic Balls and ultra-low drag VV dual-lip seals. The seals are specially designed to withstand outdoor conditions and contain 90% fill Kluber NBU52 ultra-smooth and sticky, water-proof grease. The use of Si3N4 Ceramic balls reduces bearing wear, increasing its lifespan by eliminating steel on steel contact within the bearing. Additionally, the black oxide/magnetite treatment on the races provides an extra layer of corrosion resistance for worry-free use. While the VV seals are our lightest contact design, they may not offer as much protection against the elements as our LLB or LL
