Compare to the Goose Lock 6206K, the 28 mm diameter of the 4204K's tube is 12 mm narrower, providing a more compact and flexible option. For easier locking and extended reach, the lock body is positioned at a right angle. The tube is composed of multiple components, including a 4 mm thick steel chain, a gooseneck, a soft foam cover, and a durable coating made of IvyTex fibers. The steel chain is constructed with specially hardened steel for ultimate security.
The term "gooseneck" refers to a pair of coiled metal springs that maintain the lock's structural integrity, allowing it to be molded and secured snugly around the bike frame. The foam padding adds a distinct feel and prevents any rattling during transport. The durable, flexible IvyTex coating made of synthetic fibers offers excellent protection against scratches and abrasions.
