The Fox 40 is the definition of DH Race Forks that was shaped in the competition of the World Cup. The Fox 40 continues to lead the pack by incorporating a Grip-2 damper, updated EVOL air spring, and many more radical performance features into its design.

The Float EVOL air spring improves small bump sensitivity by increasing negative air spring volume. The EVOL linear spring curve means that you get more tuneable bottom-out progression, while still having plushness off the top and extra mid-stroke support. The enhanced lower leg channels and bleeders prevent any unwanted air pressure interference for increased smoothness of every ride.

There are also improvements on the Grip-2 damper on the high-speed compression circuit, as it now features Variable Valve Control (VVC). VVC means that the stiffness of the high-speed valve can be changed, without affecting the total oil flow. It's custom-tuning your fork without having to take it all apart, and it has the added benefit of a much more predictable adjustment, better big-hit absorption, and less harshness.

Factory forks also include an additional 22 clicks of low-speed compression adjustment in Open mode, allowing the fine attunement of damping preferences for any rider. And with its slippery smooth, ultra-durable Kashima coat, it is designed to exceed any demands riders throw at it.
