Tailored for E-bikes and aggressive trail riding, the 2023 36-e introduces an updated crown and reduced weight. With a thicker-walled chassis than the standard 36 and a specific e-tune damper, it's the perfect fit for bikes like the Specialized Levo from 2019-2022.
Fox aimed to enhance the smoothness, stiffness, and tunability of their renowned fork with the 36-e. The all-new chassis incorporates three key features for improved smoothness. The floating axle design ensures precise alignment of the hub and fork legs, enhancing terrain tracking. New channels in the lower legs increase air volume, reducing unintended pressure ramping and facilitating more oil flow to dust wiper foam rings and bushings. Additionally, bleed valves provide atmospheric pressure equalization, releasing pressure build-up during rough rides, ultimately improving small bump sensitivity and responsiveness.
