The Fox 36 boasts a new design that makes it 20 grams lighter while still being extremely durable. The new crown improves durability while also maintaining stiffness throughout the fork, and the Kashima coat means you will have the smoothest ride possible. The Fox 36 also increases the air volume in the lower legs, which reduces the amount of additional unintended pressure ramping. Also, the oil circulation means the foam rings and bushings are continually being lubricated to increase the smoothness of your ride.

The Float EVOL air spring improves small bump sensitivity by increasing negative air spring volume. The EVOL linear spring curve means that you get more tuneable bottom-out progression, while still having plushness off the top and extra mid-stroke support. The enhanced lower leg channels and bleeders prevent any unwanted air pressure interference for increased smoothness of every ride.

There are also improvements on the Grip-2 damper on the high-speed compression circuit, as it now features Variable Valve Control (VVC). VVC means that the stiffness of the high-speed valve can be changed, without affecting the total oil flow. It's custom-tuning your fork without having to take it all apart, and it has the added benefit of a much more predictable adjustment, better big-hit absorption, and less harshness.
