Quickly cut through the streets and past the competition with the Keo Blade Carbon Ceramic pedals. LOOK's unique Blade technology is combined with the unparalleled performance of ceramic bearings to give you the same performance accessible to the greatest riders of the World Tour Peleton. The Keo Blade gives you the best power-to-weight ratio available in the road pedal market today, simply put, these pedals were made to win.
Champion's Choice
6 UCI World Tour teams including Movistar, Astana Qazaqstan Team and Team Cofidis have chosen the Keo Blade Carbon to accompany them during the 2023 season.
Only 110g, aerodynamic and powerful, each pedal provides the riders with an incredible platform to keep improving and optimizing performance on the road to victory.
Ceramic Superiority
Each component in the Keo Blade's bearings, down to the individual ball, is meticulously crafted and calibrated one by one, down to the micrometre with perfectly adapted bearing rings to ensure you get the most finely tuned bearings ever. Ceramic bearings hold the advantage over steel being rounder, harder and corrosion resistant, leading to a bearing that lasts 4-6 times longer than traditional steel, with an 18% reduction in friction.
Blade Technology
The Blade lever system- The natural successor to the conventional metal spring. Not only does the carbon blade weigh 20% less than a standard spring lever, but in blends seamlessly into the shape and volume of the pedal, improving its overall aerodynamic properties.
The Blade technology revolutionizes the engagement and disengagement experience whilst offering firm and secure support. The bowing of the blade when un-clipping means the required disengagement torque is reached more rapidly in the dynamic of the movement, allowing for faster cleat release.
Race Through the Worst Weather
With all this fancy tech you might be tempted to keep your Keo Blade pedals indoors on rainy days, worried you might damage the performance of these highly tuned beasts. Well, you'd be right about them being highly tuned.
These pedals are itching to get out and tear down the roads, no matter how shocking the weather might be. The axle of these pedals is guaranteed waterproof by IPX7 (full immersion) and IPX6 (rotating pedal exposed to water jets) tests. The outer cap and inside nut have been redesigned to meet these strict requirements, leaving nothing to stop you from heading out to race.
The Best Power to Weight Ratio
LOOK engineers have worked tirelessly to pinpoint the areas where energy transfer is optimal, in order to finetune design and reduce any unnecessary surfaces. This careful analysis was key to producing a pedal with the best weight-to-contact area ratio on the market today.
