Disclaimer - Images shown may not be accurate to actual product. Please refer to the title/specifications to determine the colour, hub type, brake type, freehub body of wheels, and whether they are front, rear or a wheelset. Colour refers to the colour of printed decals - the body of all Princeton wheels are carbon black.

Ready To Ride

Princeton's highly functional design philosophy means that the ALTA wheels are ready to go with your favourite tyre brands, whether riding tubed or tubeless. The 21mm internal hooked, tubeless ready, clincher profile of the ALTA wheels seamlessly accommodates wider modern tyres, while Princeton's non-drilled tyre bed makes tubeless setup faster and easier than ever. The valve exit has been shaped and optimised to make valve tightening straightforward and easier on the fingers.

Princeton wheels come with 2 padded Princeton wheelbags, tubeless valves, and skewers and brake pads for rim brake sets.

First-Class Carbon

Race-winning, record-smashing, Princeton's reputation is one of peak performance and class since 2012. Their high-quality carbon craftsmanship produces incredibly stiff, unbelievably lightweight and dizzyingly fast wheels. Trusted by pros, these were the guys who designed the wheels that set the hour record, held since 2019.

Their carbon wheels hold the weight, stiffness and aerodynamic benefits over standard aluminium wheels. If you're looking to squeeze the most speed out of your setup, carbon wheels are the perfect next upgrade.

Join the rEVOLUTION

ALTA is the first wheelset in Princeton's lineup to utilise their new EVOLUTION rim design and layup. These wheels offer riders unmatched spoke tension balance and improved performance by using a rim shape that promotes spoke tension balance - the steep spokes (drive side on rear and disc side on front) are attached to the deeper portion of the rim, bringing them closer into symmetry with the opposing sides' spokes.

The ALTA wheels also utilise a first-of-its-kind variable and asymmetrical cross-section used to aid in spoke engagement and a more direct spoke to rim interface, achieved by having the nipple bed articulate from drive side to non-drive side with each spoke to better match the spoke entry angle to the rim.

EVOLUTION is an inherently lightweight design, with the ALTAs clocking in at only 348g rim weight. By removing material on the inner edge of the rim and optimising spoke bracing angles and tensions, Princeton has created an incredibly efficient final product.
